Enjoy this entertaining short film that reminds me of when Agent Smith, in the Matrix, compares humanity to a virus. The animation is pretty cool and it gets you to thinking.

It’s almost Halloween so be sure that you’ve got your pumpkins ready! Like last year, you can find some entertaining stencils at Homestar Runner. Every once in a while a cartoon comes along with the most amazing skateboarding animation ever. After watching the animated cat throw down giant kickflips, you will weep with unbearable joy. The new Kleeman and Mike cartoon from Randall Christopher is out and it’s a laugh riot! Be sure to check out the ‘making of’ section too. (There are subtitled versions available on the site: English, Spanish, Japanese.) Psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst, dude. Order me a carne asada burrito.

Rainbow Monster - It’s a two minute long animation based on kaiju inspired characters created by Paul Shih. Enjoy this colorful, silly little clip about “You are what you eat…” The rocking music featured in this cartoon was done by some talented Belgian musicians DimDim and Yoummie! It’s pretty catchy.

The Simpsons Game features a hilarious, sprawling and brain-busting storyline based on the popular TV show. To help the Simpsons battle through the levels, gamers must journey through Springfield and other well known locations from the show. The ever talented writers from the show packed this game with parodies and satire of the video game industry, pop culture and current events. The game comes out this November and you’ll find a version of it for whatever platform you play. WooHoo!

I’m not sure if I’ll be getting the Wii or the Nintendo DS version of this action-comedy game, but either way I don’t expect to come close to finishing the game. The special powers that each of the Simpsons characters have look pretty clever. I like the Homerball which has a bloated Homer rolling around a la Katamari Damacy.

ItsJerryTime! If you’ve ever rented an apartment and had roommates you’ll know just how crazy it can be sometimes. It’s Jerry in his tie-die and shaggy hair in this entertaining episode is called ‘Roommate Hell‘. Oh those crazy college days. How many of you have had crazy roommates? They are just one of the many reasons for individuals to live as hermits or buy a house for themselves.

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats - Let me show you them. The first time I saw the silly and creative artwork by Ape Lad was with the 700 Hoboes Project. Now his Laugh-Out-Loud Cats comics are entertaining folk everywhere. I really enjoy his sepia tone view of the world with the antics of those grammatically challenged cats, Kitteh and Pip. His old-timey artistic style gives you a real feeling of yesteryore. Enjoy the Original Laugh-Out-Loud Cats film and you’ll swear it was 19 aught 2 again.

The Mr. Men Show series goes on-air in 2008. The 25-strong cast of the new show will be revealed over time with Mr Bump, Little Miss Sunshine, Mr Tickle, Mr Bounce, Mr Happy and Mr Grumpy currently online. This is great news for those who enjoyed the children’s books (that started in 1971) and now have kids of their own. To keep up with the latest Mr. Men news be sure to read the Mr. Men blog.

Marzipan enjoys some quality time with Homestar’s cardboard doppelganger, while he’s on “vacation”. So now it’s time to spend some Quality Time with Cardboard Homestar. I think that cardboard Homestar is even sillier than the Cardboard Marzipan which we first saw in Happy Fireworks. Speaking of happy days - Congrats on the new Baby Chaps! Now each of the Chapman brothers has a kid!

With The Simpsons Movie coming soon to theaters (July 27th), be sure to grab a dozen copies of the movie soundtrack. It looks like a donut and comes in special packaging! The CD contains the familiar themes from the show as well as the original movie score by award-winning composer/producer Hans Zimmer. It’s a must-have for all Simpsons’ fans and donut lovers alike. With track listings like “Trapped Like Carrots”, “Bart’s Doodle” and “Recklessly Impulsive” how could you go wrong? Mmmmm…

Jerry was there to accept the Broadband Variety Emmy Award at the 34th Annual Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmy Awards ceremony.
