I know it only rains in Southern California a few times a year and we should be glad that it’s helping our drought, but why does it have to all at once? (Rain is so rare out here that even mild rainstorms lead the nightly local news.) We’ve had over 4 inches of rain this past week, which is crazy. We’ve had to drive through some impromptu rivers running across the road in our SUV, which isn’t much fun. And yes there was a newspaper machine floating by us as we drove.
