Part of a Complete Breakfast?

I want to see a show of hands of how many of you when eating cereal for breakfast, eat any thing else? OJ, toast, whatever. Any breakfast accompaniment is fine. Unless I missed my mark, I think that with our busy schedules if you don’t skip breakfast completely, you probably don’t eat anything else but cereal. You just don’t have the time. I’m assuming your breakfasting is different on weekends and if you happen to go out to a restaurant. When I was a kid I can recall big breakfasts that included the works: pancakes, bacon, fruit, hash browns and more. I guess I’m too busy for big breakfasts anymore.

I’m eating cereal right now. I’d love to eat something a bit more tasty and less stodgy after I’ve just woken up, but I don’t have the time. Sometimes I’ll make toast, though it’s still quicker to just pour some cereal and milk than make toast.

Since I’m a big fatty I’ll occasionally have something chocolate with cereal. I don’t do it often, but sometimes I’ll do it when I have some christmas candy.

OH and the wife had gone on a diet where she couldn’t eat cereal. Just egg whites or plain oatmeal. Thankfully, she’s way past that stage now.
