Stand Up Together

Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. was the chief spokesman of the nonviolent civil rights movement.

With Barack Obama’s inauguration tomorrow, Martin Luther King Day seems to have more of an impact this year. Watch his “I Have a Dream” speech and tell me it doesn’t move you. I like the quote by Coretta Scott King, “This is not a black holiday; it is a peoples’ holiday.” There’s still injustice happening in the world, so don’t get comfortable just yet.
