I don’t know if you’ve caught the new Hellboy II trailer/commercial on TV yet, but it looks sweet! The official production site for Hellboy II: The Golden Army has updated with a fourth TV spot for the July 11 movie release. The first movie was great and Ron Perlman does a super Hellboy! I can’t wait to see this one and I bet it’ll be better than the first. What do you think and will you be going to watch the movie?

I think it’ll be awesome. It’s definitely an in theater movie.They did do a good job with the first one. My fear is that they’re going to pull a Pirates of the Caribbean and repeat the same gags and gimmicks…i.e. fight with a box of kittens in your hands/fight with a baby in your hands…it gets old. The SFX budget seems to be a lot bigger on this one and I think del Toro has a lot more creative freedom w/this one. I’ll keep my fingers crossed…but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.
