I have almost all the figures and they've been tough to find, but I've been pretty lucky I guess.

They were hard to find for a while, now they are fairly plentiful around here though it's all stuff I have. One Wal-Mart has like 10 pegs PACKED with the wave made up of re-releases of the boxed sets we got initially. I'm worried they may give up on the line if they don't sell.

I've only got the Cobra and Joe 5-packs that I got at the Comic-Con last year. I'm always actively looking when we go out shopping. I've only found a few that were mangled and I won't buy them with messy packaging. I enjoy the artwork as much as the figure too. I expect if I find some real cherry ones I'll buy them.

good gravy!!! the VAMP!!!!!! back in 82 right before christmas, mybrother and i went on a "present expedition" and found 2 GI Joe toys in my parents closet. fearing discovery, we took off before we could look more closely at the gifts. my brother got the VAMP and clutch and i got the MOBAT. steeler was my fave for a bit. i've only scene a single carded cobra commander and a crimson guardsman here in PA. They had 2 or 3 different versions of the 5 piece collections. savage, my friend you make me very jealous right now. grrr.. the child comes first before GI JOE.....

Holy crap have the figures been hard to find in the Atlanta area. I have to admit that I have a bunch, 18 so far, but I've felt like I was 19 again scouring the shelves for new Star Wars POTF figures.

At first I was trying to find any of the figures that I had growing up, but I sort of ditched that idea to concentrate on my favorite characters. To be honest, I'm more jazzed about the packaging than the figures themselves. There's just something magical about seeing the dynamic painted character against the fireball backdrop that makes me feel like I'm 8 again.

The only figure that I've really wanted that's completely alluded me so far is Flash, though I'd also like to find a Snowjob with a nice card (mine is all bent up.)

So far my favorite figure has to be the single carded Storm Shadow (cobra version) because it features the original artwork from 1985. I'm cool with the rest of the figures having updated paintings, but that original art is pretty awesome.

I hope they decide to single card the Baroness, and I'd love to see a Barbecue released...
