Astro Boy Movie in 2009

A 2009 film of Astro Boy in a futuristic world where androids co-exist with humans.

A feature film of the long-running anime series Astro Boy will be released in 2009. Imagi Animation Studio released a poster for the film, which you can view here! Thankfully this action film will be done entirely in CG animation and not with a Culkin brother.

Astro Boy tells the story of a powerful robot boy created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. Our hero journeys to find acceptance in the human world, and ultimately discovers true friendship as he uses his incredible powers to help others and save Metro City from destruction.

I imagine this will be the best movie of 2009, animated or otherwise, and I’m looking forward to it as I imagine Gabe is too.

    you know, i’ve seen maybe one episode of astroboy. call me a loser. BUT it doesn’t mean i won’t look forward to this either. it definitely looks good. REAL GOOD

    iv whach mostly all the astro boy
    tv seras and im telling you now
    you will not be disaponted
    this is most likly going to be one of
    the most populer movies of 2009
    in japan astro boy or atom as he is nown
    is a robot boy copy of a 9 to 10yr old
    boy whos fathere bilt him out of gilt
    & love for him & his loss
    all i have to say is befor yu-g-yo & the
    transformers there was #1astro boy so move over gang
    the kid of 10,0000 hr power is comeing
    to the big screen ,
    finaly something good for all to see i can’t what to see this in japan 1st then in the usa
