Do you remember Mego action figures and playsets? What about those crazy cloth-like outfits the superhero figures wore, and the awful hair-dos and squeezable, squishy heads? I’d spend hours just smooshing their heads flat. They were just the funniest toy I played with. I mean just look at this picture – it’s like all of them are wearing pajamas. Both the Mego Museum and Mego Central provide hours of entertainment with their picture galleries and info of these classic toys.

Perhaps this is how the idea of Underoos came around.
