Zartan Master of Disguise

Zartan, disguised in his face mask looks like he’s pulling a pile of junk. (It’s really the Chameleon, which he assembles later!)
When this G.I. Joe toy came out mid 80′s I thought it was the coolest thing. He changed color in sunlight, he had a mask and he had a cool vehicle to ride around on. Little did I know that a toy that looked like junk was quickly thrown in the trash by my parents. Man that sucked! All I had left was Zartan and from then on he had to walk everywhere he went.
Another thing about this toy- in the cartoon, Zartan was able to change faces to whatever he wanted. But with this toy, you were given one mask and that made him look like Zod, from Superman- which wasn’t much of a disguise and more of a Halloween thing.

I coveted all figures that had any type of removable hear gear, br it helmets or masks or whatever. I also loved his siblings (or cousins) that had the same color changing abilities and wore blue and neon pink.
