The Deer, the Dog, and the Bambulance

I heard this, yet unproven myth, many years ago and thought I’d continue this somewhat daffy legend tale called: “The Deer, the Dog, and the Bambulance”.
A somewhat intoxicated sounding motorist hits a deer with his car and, assuming the animal is dead, loads it into his back seat. The deer wakes up and begins kicking and biting, prompting a crazy 911 call by the dismayed driver. Listen to it here. I heard this years ago and played it for a house full of friends and family during thanksgiving. It was the funniest thing we had ever heard, everyone was in tears. Then, i lost the tape. Your website has brought it back. I thought the recording I had was unedited. Is there an unedited version? Thanks.

This was the only version I’ve been able to find over the years. I can’t recall hearing any other version. But if one comes up, I’ll be happy to post about it.There is an unedited version that I’ve got as well, but I won’t be posting it.This recording is one of the most searched for items on the site.

I heard this about 4 years ago on my friends computer. We live out in the country in the Midwest and this seemed to make a clear image of what happens by my house at our gas station because every week there is a deer hit by a car just down the road. This has to be the funniest but also truest recording I have ever heard.
