Recent Fool articles about Marvel
I like to read the articles at Fool.com and these two articles about another of my favorite companies, Marvel. The first article talk about the upcoming holiday season and what exciting Marvel related games we’ll be seeing on store shelves shortly. It also mentions briefly about the X-men 3 movie which will be released next summer.(Plenty of new X-men related stuff, which I really enjoy. The X-men games and movies have done well with sales and I find them really entertaining.)
The second article talks about Marvel’s licensing and it’s long dry spell for creating new and popular characters for their comic book fans.
Marvel hasn’t created an enduring hit character since 1974, when the improbably coiffed mutant Wolverine turned up in an issue of The Incredible Hulk.
I grew up on Marvel comics, but I do miss the old days of great written comics from Marvel. But if Marvel doesn’t pay more attention to their publishing efforts, they’ll have problems.
